Terms & conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all guests staying at Lazy Days on Shaws Bay, located at 23 Hill Street East Ballina NSW 2478. By making a reservation and staying at our holiday rental, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Reservation and Payment
Reservations can be made through our website or by calling Katya on 0494 071 020.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.

Cancellations
The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel at any time after 24 hours of booking. If the guest doesn’t show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event the travel is cancelled; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and medical expenses.

Check-in and Check-out
Check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards, and check-out time is by 10:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.

Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for maintaining the property in a clean and tidy condition throughout their stay.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Guests may smoke in outdoor areas only. Cigarette butt containers are provided. Please empty all buts in the outside red disposal bin before departure.
Guests must dispose of garbage and recycling in the allocated bins before departure.

Behaviour
Guests must adhere to noise restrictions and respect the privacy and comfort of neighbouring properties. Parties and any such activities are strictly prohibited. Disturbance to other guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund.

Pets
Pets are allowed in all the apartments but not the Penthouse.
Guests must inform us in advance if they are bringing a pet.
Guests are responsible for ensuring their pets are well-behaved, properly supervised, and do not cause any disturbances or damage to the property.

Damages
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, and damage to furniture, fixtures or fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs.

Safety and Liability
Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings during their stay.
The property owner and management are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses that occur during the guest’s stay.
Guests are advised to lock all doors and windows when leaving the property and to use any provided safety equipment appropriately.

Number of Guests
At no time during your stay is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Guests should report any complaints or issues regarding the property or their stay to the property management as soon as possible.
We will make every effort to resolve complaints promptly and efficiently.

Termination of Stay
The property owner or management reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay if they violate these terms and conditions, engage in illegal activities, or cause significant disruption to other guests or neighbours.
In the event of termination, no refunds will be provided, and the guest will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.

No Tenancy
You agree that regardless of your length of stay in there is no tenancy or other rights created under any Landlord and Tenant laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay.

Breach of Terms and Conditions
You agree that should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions:
You will pay us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card and we may evict you and your guests without notice.
Consequences of breaching the Terms and Conditions can include enforcement action subject to Australian Consumer Law or from the Police.
